Service Overview
Our rapid deployment solutions are perfect for areas that have no access to power or on a site with temporary buildings. They can be used on building sites, infrastructure projects, safeguarding equipment or anywhere you need a temporary security solution.
We are proud to support local businesses, and our pods and towers are built by our partners at Videcon in the UK, in North Yorkshire, giving you total peace of mind. If something goes wrong, there is a minimal wait for parts, and most things can be fixed the same day. If not, we’ll swap it out for you.
Pods vs Towers
We offer two types of rapid deployment solutions: a solar Rapid Deployment Tower or a Rapid Deployment Pod.
Our solar towers and pods are the complete solution that can be monitored through the FGH National Control Centre. The towers come with great battery life, and our engineer teams get a message when it’s time to change the batteries. This means you have nothing to worry about, and the full solution is under our care. This can also be complemented with a response service from our sister company FGH Security and their trusted delivery network.
Our rapid deployment pods are fully battery-operated and are equipped with motion sensors, infrared technology, and advanced analytics to alert the user of unauthorised entry. These are the smaller brothers of the solar towers and they use the latest UNV camera technology. They will start recording when somebody breaks the invisible barrier and send you or a control centre a real-time alert.
All our solutions are fully customisable and can range from a PTZ camera to one or two static cameras depending on your site’s needs.
How do I know if a rapid deployment solution is suitable for my site?
If your site lacks fixed power or internet, needs immediate protection, or requires a cost-effective alternative to 24/7 security guards, it’s the perfect fit.
How soon can get one of the solutions to my site?
Depending on stock availability in your location, we aim to get a solution to your site within 24 to 48 hours.
What is the minimum hire period?
The preferred minimum hire term for both rapid deployment solutions is four weeks. Please contact us if you require the solution for a shorter period of time.
Where can the rapid deployment solutions be deployed to?
FGH System’s rapid deployment solutions are designed to deploy to places where other solutions can’t get to.
We can deploy anywhere in the UK on most terrains. You tell us what you need and where and leave us to the details of making it happen.
What are the key differences between a POD and a Tower?
- Towers secure a larger area with a bigger setup footprint than a POD.
- Towers can be proactively monitored 24/7; PODS are perfect for reactive monitoring.
- Towers can use an audio warning from the control room to deter. PODS can only play a prerecorded message on activation.
- Both solutions have a visual warning on activation.
