At FGH Systems, we can take over most existing commercial CCTV and intruder alarm systems, giving you full control and peace of mind. Whether you’ve moved into a new building or inherited a system you don’t fully understand, our team can assess, service, and maintain it to ensure it’s safe, reliable, and ready to protect your premises.
Before taking over a system, we carry out a full site visit to assess its condition, confirm it can be maintained, and check the availability of replacement parts if it’s an older system. Once taken over, the system can be integrated into a maintenance contract or left for on-demand support as needed.
Takeover Process
Our takeover process is simple and efficient. FGH Systems visits your site to inspect the system, identify any parts that need replacement, and bring it up to standard. This one-off service starts from £150, covering essential adjustments, replacements, and configuration changes.
If the system includes alarms or CCTV with unknown codes, our team will reset and reconfigure them (where possible) to give you full access. Please note that some CCTV systems may be locked to the previous installer and cannot be accessed without the admin password. After the takeover, you can choose to add a maintenance contract or simply call us when you need support.
Can FGH Systems take over any existing system?

How much does a takeover cost?
Takeovers start from a one-off fee of £150, which covers the site visit, any essential parts replacement, and reconfiguration needed to bring the system up to standard.
What if I don’t know the alarm code or CCTV login?
Our takeover fee includes resetting and configuring your system wherever possible, giving you full access. Some CCTV systems may be locked to a previous installer and cannot be accessed without the admin password.
Can I combine the takeover with a maintenance package?
Yes. After the takeover, you can choose to set up a full maintenance contract with FGH Systems or simply call us for support as needed.
Is this service suitable for both commercial and domestic sites?
